FEM pre-/post-processing

Previous Up Next

Question Is there a pre-/post-processor ?

femesh is a preprocessor which lets you build models with toolbox (beam, 3, 4, 8 node shell, 4,6,8,20 node solid, etc.) and user defined elements. You can select parts of models, translate, rotate, repeat, extrude, etc.

feplot and fecom form a post-processor for visualizing deformed structures wire frame, surface and sensor plots of arbitrarily complex structures (see the list of demos). The FE capabilities do however currently only support stress computations for volume elements.
