Element Functions

Element functions supported by OpenFEM version 1.0 are listed below. These elements currently only support elastic behaviour (both isotropic and anisotropic).

3-D elements can be degenerated to 2-D by DOF elimination. 2-D elements are assumed in the x-y plane. Plane stress, plane strain or axysimmetry is selected using the element property row in il.
